The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), Office of Water Quality, is proposing a draft modification to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for Petro Stopping Center #74 Wastewater Treatment Plant, located in Delaware County, Indiana. This modification is to reflect the transfer of ownership of the facility from Travel Centers of America, LLC to Gaston Holdings IN, LLC. The facility is a minor semipublic wastewater treatment plant with an average design flow of 0.01 million gallons daily, discharging treated sanitary wastewater into the Yeager Finley Manard Ditch via Outfall 001. The permit modification does not change the expiration date of the permit, which remains July 31, 2028. A 30-day public comment period is open for interested parties to submit written comments on the draft permit. Comments must be received or postmarked by May 21, 2026. The draft permit documents are available for inspection at IDEM's Office of Water Quality in Indianapolis, Indiana, and are also posted online.
