Methuen Solid Waste and Recycling Services

The City of Methuen is soliciting proposals for curbside collection and disposal/processing of municipal solid waste (MSW) and recyclables. The anticipated contract period is three years, starting July 1, 2026, with two additional one-year options. Proposals must include a description of how services will be performed, including details on trucks, staffing, and the proposed fee per ton for MSW and recyclables. The city estimates generating approximately 15,200 tons of MSW and 3,900 tons of recyclables annually.
