Technical Systems Integrator for Montana PBS Network Operations Center

Montana PBS is seeking proposals from qualified technical systems integrators for the modernization of its Network Operations Center (NOC) in Bozeman, Montana. This project involves the design, integration, and implementation of new equipment, including routers, racks, and patch panels, with a critical requirement to maintain on-air functionality throughout the entire process. The integrator will be responsible for a turnkey solution encompassing the removal of legacy equipment, installation of new components, and integration of owner-furnished equipment, including all necessary cabling, labeling, testing, and commissioning. The scope of work includes upgrading and reorganizing the NOC infrastructure to enhance reliability and scalability. This involves comprehensive solutions for rack systems, multi-format baseband routers, multi-view monitoring systems, master clock systems, and the purchase and integration of new production equipment. The project also requires the integration of owner-furnished equipment such as automation systems, studio and field camera systems, control room equipment, replay systems, media servers, intercom systems, network switches, and transmission headend equipment. Compliance with various industry standards (NFPA, ADA, SMPTE, AVIXA, etc.) is mandatory. The awarded offeror will provide all labor, materials, and supervision, and will be responsible for on-site manufacturer commissioning and training for major system components.
