Sanitary Sewer System Asset Management Program Contract

Jefferson County, Alabama, through its Environmental Services Department, is soliciting sealed bid proposals for the Sanitary Sewer System Asset Management Program Contract No. 2025 AMP13. This project involves the replacement of approximately 602 linear feet of an 18-inch force main with 20-inch HDPE, including bypass pumping, asphalt paving, and restoration work. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Jefferson County Environmental Services Department for Class B Sewer Line Projects or Cured-in-Place Projects by May 1, 2026. Pre-qualification requires written evidence of competency and financial responsibility. Bids will only be accepted from contractors on the Plan Holders List who have purchased documents and attended the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. The contract duration is two hundred and ten (210) consecutive calendar days, comprising a 90-day administrative period followed by a 120-day construction period. Liquidated damages will be assessed for exceeding this timeframe. Questions regarding the Bidding Documents must be submitted in writing by May 8, 2026.
