Preliminary Engineering and Planning Services for Metro-North Railroad Climate Resilience and Infrastructure Improvements

MTA Construction & Development is seeking a consultant to provide preliminary engineering, design, and planning services for climate resilience and infrastructure improvements on Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line. This contract includes two concurrent tasks: Task A involves preliminary engineering, bridging documents, and procurement for flood mitigation and improvements on the Hudson Line between Mileposts 11.0 and 19.0. Task B is a study to develop guidance for future infrastructure projects and climate resilience improvements on the Hudson Line from Milepost 6.0 to 75.76. The estimated budget range for this project is $10 million to $50 million, funded 100% by capital. A virtual pre-bid conference will be held via Microsoft Teams on February 3, 2026, at 2:30 PM.
