Description

The County of Maui, through its Department of Management, is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide State Legislative Lobbyist services. The selected vendor will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing community needs, developing strategies to pursue funding and legislation, executing a state government relations program, and providing additional lobbying services as necessary. The scope of work includes developing and executing a legislative strategy, advocating for state funding and budget priorities, and providing various deliverables such as strategy plans, session reports, and end-of-session summaries. The contractor must have extensive knowledge of the Hawaii State Legislature, demonstrated experience in state government relations, and a proven ability to develop and execute successful legislative strategies. Established professional relationships with members and staff of the Hawaii State Legislature are highly desirable.
