Annual Utility Audit Services

The City of Tacoma's Finance Department is seeking proposals from nationally recognized certified public accounting firms to perform financial audits of standalone financial statements for its Power, Water, Rail, Sewer/Wastewater, and Solid Waste Management funds. These audits will cover the five years ending December 31, 2026, through December 31, 2031. The selected firm will be responsible for expressing an opinion on whether the statements are presented fairly and in conformity with generally accepted auditing standards in the United States and Government Auditing Standards. The scope includes auditing financial statements, preparing a management letter, and potentially providing CPE-qualified training sessions.
