Description

Singing River Health System is soliciting bids for the purchase of normal power generator equipment for their Singing River Hospital - Gulfport facility. Pricing for the equipment must be guaranteed through September 9, 2026. All items must comply with the attached specifications, and bidders must use the prescribed bid proposal form. Singing River Health System is tax-exempt, and all bid prices should exclude state and federal sales tax, excluding the Mississippi State Contractors Tax. Approved substitutions are the only ones that will be entertained, and bidders must provide samples or documentary evidence to prove equality. Bids must be submitted sealed and addressed to Mr. Joseph Foster, Director of Materials Management, at Singing River Health System, Singing River Hospital - Gulfport, 15200 Community Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. The envelope must be marked: "BIDS TO BE OPENED ON June 9, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.". Bidders are required to certify that their company does not discriminate and complies with wage and hour laws. Gratuities are prohibited. Singing River Health System reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A Mississippi "Certificate of Responsibility" is required for contracts exceeding $50,000.00. Plans and specifications are available digitally, with hard copies available for purchase. A bid deposit of $200.00 per set is required. Bids may be submitted in person or electronically via www.mhardyarchitect.com. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or e-mail proposals will be considered. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond for 100% of all labor and materials, and a bid bond of 5% is required. Davis Bacon Act Wage Rates and Buy America Act requirements shall apply.
