Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking a contractor to provide non-personal services for selective predator control and removal of species including coyotes and hogs. This service is crucial for reducing nest depredations, increasing sea turtle nesting success, and protecting other trust resources within the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge in Hobe Sound, Florida. The contractor must be a Certified Wildlife Biologist(r) with at least 100 hours of documented experience in trapping and removal of predators from public lands. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price type, with services to be performed on a weekly basis. The period of performance is anticipated to begin within two weeks of the award date and conclude by November 30, 2026. Services will be performed within the boundaries of the refuge, which includes both an island tract and a mainland tract. The contractor is responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, and transportation necessary for the performance of the work.
