Manufacture of Meters and Indicators for Ship Control Guidance Weapon System

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSUP-WSS) intends to solicit and award a long-term contract for the manufacture of various meters and indicators, specifically for the Ship Control Guidance weapon system. This will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a base period of five years and no option years. The solicitation will include 36 repair National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and 36 procurement NSNs. The government does not possess the necessary data to procure these items from any source other than Prime Technology in North Branford, CT, and is therefore pursuing this on a limited competitive basis under FAR 6.302-1. The items are described as 'Meter, Special Scale' and 'Indicator' with associated NSNs and FSC codes provided. Some items may be subject to Free Trade Agreements or the WTO Government Procurement Agreement. Vendors interested in providing commercial items or identifying capability must do so within 15 days of this notice. Source approval is required for certain parts, with specific procedures outlined for new sources.
