Description

Rankin County Board of Supervisors is seeking bids for one or more used hydraulic excavators, specifically requesting models from 2021 or newer. Bids will be submitted in two stages: first, unpriced proposals detailing manufacturer specifications, followed by an electronic reverse auction for priced bids. The equipment must meet or exceed detailed specifications for engine power, lift capacity, digging depth, reach, operating weight, dimensions, powertrain, technology features, hydraulic system, undercarriage, operator station, and boom/stick. Additionally, the excavator must include specific work tool options such as a bucket, hydraulic quick coupler, and hydraulic thumb, and the cab must have a protective screen. A 48-month or 4000-hour powertrain and hydraulic warranty, along with a 48-month or 4000-hour buyback option from the selling dealership, is required. Delivery of the equipment must be within 30 days of purchase order receipt, FOB Destination Point to the Rankin County Unit System Barn.
