Emergency Service Training Center LPG Prop Relocation

Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) is seeking proposals for the relocation and installation of Liquid Propane (LP) props. The project involves moving these props from the existing Emergency Service Training Center (ESTC) at 150 Coal Chute Road, Morganton, NC, to a new facility at 900 Vine Arden Road, Morganton, NC. The scope of work includes cutting supply lines, loading and transporting props, setting them in place according to site drawings, removing and reinstalling existing Emergency Shut-off Valves (ESVs) and associated piping, and re-connecting props to the new facility's infrastructure. The contractor will also be responsible for removing and reinstalling pneumatic valves and gauges, supplying new standard 1/4 inch polyurethane pneumatic lines and fittings, and ensuring all piping passes a pressure test meeting NFPA standards. A licensed plumber in gas installation is required for the installation of gas lines. The project is scheduled to begin on June 15, 2026, and be completed by August 14, 2026.
