Sale and Redevelopment of 123 Lacey Street
City of Fairbanks
The City of Fairbanks is seeking proposals from qualified development firms or teams for the purchase and redevelopment of the 123 Lacey Street property, the former site of the Polaris building in downtown Fairbanks. This solicitation is issued in conjunction with City of Fairbanks Resolution No. 5211. The City aims to re-energize downtown by attracting private sector investment for this approximately 20,898 square foot city-owned parcel, which is part of a larger block also containing privately owned parcels. Proposals should demonstrate a clear vision for year-round activity, strong place-based design, and financial viability, potentially including retail, office, or lodging components. The selected developer will be responsible for securing any additional necessary private parcels.
