Cosmetology and Hairstyling Supplies, Equipment, and Furnishings

The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) is seeking to pre-qualify suppliers for cosmetology and hairstyling supplies, equipment, and furnishings. This is a pre-qualification process, and suppliers can submit proposals at any time throughout the contract duration. The initial term is one year, commencing approximately January 17, 2022, with the possibility of four additional one-year renewals, ending December 31, 2027. The objective is to establish a list of suppliers to provide these items with minimal administrative expense for low dollar value and repetitive purchases. Items that may be required include, but are not limited to, hair products and supplies, nail products and supplies, facial products and supplies, body products and supplies, apparel, and furnishings. The DSBN reserves the right to obtain quotes from multiple pre-qualified suppliers or select a supplier of their choice. Orders may be picked up at a supplier's storefront near the Niagara Region or delivered via purchase or blanket contract order. Individual schools will purchase based on "best fit" and availability. The DSBN serves 12 municipalities from Fort Erie to Grimsby, encompassing 79 elementary and 20 secondary schools with approximately 36,000 students, along with administrative centers.
