Description

This is a BPA Call Order for lodgepole pine cone collection services to be issued against an existing Land Management Integrated Resources (LMIR) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The project will take place in the Cassia Division of the Minidoka Ranger District within the Sawtooth National Forest, focusing on areas around Trapper Peak. The primary goal is to collect vegetation material to restore critical Cassia Crossbill habitat, which has been significantly impacted by recent wildfires. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, supervision, and transportation for the collection. This includes climbing designated trees, collecting cones, and adhering to specific collection criteria, minimum cone collecting criteria per species, and crown position classification guidelines. The Forest Service will provide government-furnished property such as collection tags, burlap sacks, and bushel bins. The period of performance for this call order is from the date of award through September 17, 2026.
