City of Bozeman Pedestrian Crossing and Lighting Projects

The City of Bozeman is soliciting bids for the construction of several pedestrian and lighting improvement projects. These include the installation of a pedestrian crossing with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) at the North 7th Avenue and West Aspen Street intersection, the installation of pedestrian lighting along the North 5th Avenue path from Gallatin Valley BMX to West Oak Street, and the addition of lights and paint to the existing West Main Street/5th Avenue signal. Additionally, street lights will be installed on West Main Street from The Freestone to North Grand Avenue. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN by 3:00 p.m. local time on May 15th, 2026. Contractors and their subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. All laborers and mechanics must be paid wages in accordance with Gallatin County and Montana state laws. The City of Bozeman is an Equal Opportunity Employer and requires all bidders to affirm their commitment to non-discrimination policies. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check for at least 10% of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount, along with required insurance certificates.
