Street Maintenance and Overlay Project

The City of Brookings, South Dakota is soliciting bids for the 2026-08STI Street Maintenance and Overlay Project. This project involves a variety of civil engineering and construction tasks, including: * **Asphalt Pavement Work:** Cold milling of asphalt pavement (approximately 11,500 SY), placement of asphalt concrete (approximately 7,700 Tons), and related preparation such as existing base gravel preparation. * **Concrete Work:** Installation of PLC sidewalks (approximately 70,000 SF) and curb and gutter (approximately 2,500 LF). * **Base Course and Subgrade Work:** Placement of gravel base course (approximately 7,300 Tons), cement-stabilized subgrade preparation, and excavation. * **Utility Work:** Installation of PVC water main (approximately 1,100 LF of 8-12" pipe) and PVC sewer main (approximately 350 LF of 8" pipe), including service lines. * **Ancillary Work:** Includes traffic control, landscaping, seeding, and miscellaneous items.
