Above Ground Fuel Tank Installation at FPC Yankton

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Yankton, is seeking a contractor to remove an existing 2,500-gallon underground storage tank (UST) and install a new 3,000-gallon above-ground split-compartment tank. This project includes the installation of a new concrete pad, a fuel island with two new fuel dispensers, and an automated fuel use tracking system. The scope of work also involves environmental compliance, including soil sampling for contamination and obtaining closure letters from the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (DANR). Safety measures such as the installation of protective bollards around the new tank and dispensing area are also required. All work must comply with relevant industry standards, including UL, NEC, NFPA, and IFC guidelines, as well as all Federal, State, and Local codes and regulations. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and providing all required submittmits, including product data, project reference lists, and close-out documentation. A one-year warranty on workmanship and manufacturer's warranty for installed equipment will be required. Work hours are restricted to Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, excluding federal holidays, and all personnel will require security clearance.
