Description

Chesterfield County, Virginia, is soliciting bids for the Center Pointe Parkway Extension project. This project involves the construction of approximately 2,400 linear feet of new two-lane divided roadway, connecting Center Pointe Parkway to Old Hundred Road. Key elements include a new roundabout at the intersection with Old Hundred Road, associated stormwater and utility improvements, and the construction of box culverts within the Little Tomahawk Creek floodplain. The work also encompasses the extension of a 16" ductile iron water main and ancillary sanitary sewer improvements, along with clearing, grading, asphalt paving, erosion and sediment control, signage, pavement markings, utility adjustments, landscaping, and lighting. Contractors must be pre-qualified on VDOT's current list at the time of bid opening to be eligible. Bid documents can be obtained from Timmons Group for a non-refundable fee, or electronically at no cost. Questions regarding the bid documents must be submitted in writing to Timmons Group by 5:00 PM on April 24, 2026.
