Mobile MRI Trailer Preventive Maintenance and Repairs

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance services for a mobile MRI trailer, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs. The services will cover all mechanical and electronic systems, as well as the structural integrity of the trailer. This includes the HVAC/Chiller system, lift gate, roller door, generator/ATS, electrical system, and miscellaneous components. The contract will have a base period of performance from June 30, 2026, to June 29, 2027, with two one-year option periods. Routine repairs require on-site service within the next normal workday, while emergency repairs require a one-hour call-back service and on-site arrival within 24 hours, available 24/7 at no extra charge. All work must be performed in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and industry standards. The contractor must also adhere to specific security and personnel requirements, including background investigations for key personnel.
