Runway Rehabilitation and Lighting Project at Williamsburg Regional Airport

Williamsburg County is soliciting proposals for the Runway 14-32 Rehabilitation and Lighting Project at Williamsburg Regional Airport (CKI). This project involves rehabilitating the existing asphalt runway pavement, which shows signs of age and distress, and upgrading the outdated runway lighting system. The scope of work includes replacing existing Medium Intensity Runway Lights (MIRLs) with new LED MIRLs, installing a new Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) system, and converting guidance signs to LED. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on April 28th, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Williamsburg Regional Airport, with an option to join via Microsoft Teams.
