Sale of Surplus Vehicles and Equipment via Public Auction

The Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government is authorizing the sale of surplus vehicles, equipment, and other miscellaneous movable property that are no longer needed for public purposes. These items will be sold via public auction and public internet auction to the highest bidder. All items will be sold in an "as-is, where-is" condition. The Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government reserves the right to reject any or all bids, establish minimum bid prices, or withdraw any items from the sale. The Mayor-President is authorized to conduct these sales. All state laws pertaining to the sale of surplus movable property will be adhered to.
