Architectural Services for New Fire Stations
The City
The City of Mason is seeking proposals from qualified firms for design and construction consultant services for two new fire stations. These stations are intended to improve fire, EMS, and rescue service delivery, operational efficiency, and firefighter health and safety, aligning with national standards for response times. Each station is estimated to be approximately 15,000 square feet, including office space, training accommodations, sleeping quarters for 6-10 people per shift, and 3-4 apparatus bays. The scope of services includes demolition of existing structures, site preparation, civil engineering, landscape design, structural and geotechnical engineering, architectural design, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection services, interior design, and data/telecommunication services. The project will utilize a design/bid/build procurement process.
