Detention Mattresses for Alameda County

Alameda County is seeking to procure detention-grade foam mattresses with built-in pillows for use at Santa Rita Jail. The contract will be for three years with an option to renew for two additional years. The mattresses must be fire- and fluid-resistant, and meet specific dimensions of 72 inches (L) x 30 inches (W) x 4 inches (D), with an integrated pillow measuring approximately 12 inches (L) x 6 inches (W) x 4 inches (D). They must also meet California Technical Bulletins #116, #117, #121, and #133, as well as ASTM E1590 standards. The contractor must provide a minimum one-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The estimated quantity is 800 mattresses, with delivery required within eight weeks of receiving an order.
