Ford F-350 Pickup Truck Snow Plow and Spreader Upfit

The City of Pittsburgh, through its Equipment Leasing Authority, is seeking bids for a comprehensive upfit service for fifteen (15) Ford F-350 regular cab pickup trucks. The upfit includes the installation of a complete hydraulic V-box spreader with a minimum capacity of 2.0 cubic yards and a Western 8'6" MVP 3V-plow with a self-contained hydraulic system. The scope of work also encompasses the installation of a transmission-mounted PTO and hydraulic pump system, a custom in-cab control system integrated with OEM upfitter switches, a 15" LED light bar, auxiliary work lighting, and a GPS/telematics system with proximity sensors. All systems must be fully operational upon delivery, meeting current City standards and ready for immediate service. Vendors must ensure compatibility and provide turnkey installation, with any deviations from specifications requiring written approval from the City prior to installation. The City-provided Ford F-350 trucks are regular cab with an 8' bed and a 142" wheelbase.
