Sole Source Parts Agreements for NYCT and MTA Bus Company

New York City Transit (NYCT) and MTA Bus Company (MTABC) are publicly announcing their intent to purchase various parts for subway cars and buses under sole source agreements. These parts include components for air brakes, HVAC systems, door operators, traction motors, propulsion controllers, car bodies, and signaling equipment. Additionally, components for fare collection systems and bus parts are included. The agency is issuing this notice to identify any firms that believe they can supply any of the listed items. If a firm can demonstrate its capability to supply the items on acceptable terms, NYCT may decide to competitively bid those specific items. Interested firms must submit a letter to NYCT detailing which items (by NYCT stock number) they can supply and providing supporting documentation for their claims.
