Canopy Fixed Manufacturing for M-DP Avenger Weapon System

This is a Sources Sought Notice for the potential manufacture of Canopy Fixed components (NSN: 1560-01-309-8314, Part Number: 5101580-2) for the M-DP Avenger weapon system. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Huntsville, AL Tactical Missile Branch is conducting market research to identify potential offerors with the resources to support this requirement. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Five-Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with a minimum quantity of 137 each and a maximum quantity of 500 each. First Article Testing is applicable, with a production lead time of 780 days after contract award for 500 each. The government may consider various acquisition strategies, including small business set-asides or full and open competition, but has identified TEXSTARS LLC (doing business as PPG AEROSPACE) as a restricted source. Firms must meet prequalification requirements and have an active Joint Certification Program (JCP) profile to access export-controlled data. The estimated response date is June 5, 2026.
