HVAC Equipment Replacement and Fume Hood Repair

This opportunity combines two distinct solicitations. The first is for the National Wildlife Research Center's Utah Field Station, which requires the replacement of old HVAC equipment in its administrative building. This project involves the removal of existing hydronic heating systems and all equipment in the mechanical room, followed by the installation of two new furnaces, coils, and air conditioners adapted to existing ducting. Additionally, nine mini-split heat pump systems with associated electrical work will be installed for the offices, and three electric cover heaters with thermostats will be installed in the restrooms and safe room, including electrical connections. The second solicitation is for the National Science Laboratories-Blakely (NSL-B), which requires the repair of eleven fume hoods. This work includes disconnecting existing electrical, removing old exhaust fans and caps, installing new flex connectors and PVC exhaust stacks, completing new electrical connections, replacing fume hood alarms, testing and calibrating alarms, replacing fume hood lights, and removing all debris to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
