Appraisal Services for Hot Springs State Park Businesses
State of Wyoming
The State of Wyoming is seeking proposals for two separate, full appraisals to determine the "capital investment" and "ongoing concern" values of the businesses known as the Star Plunge and the Hot Springs Hotel & Spa, located within Hot Springs State Park. These appraisals are mandated by 2026 Senate Enrolled Act 27, section 335, to facilitate the potential reimbursement of outgoing concessionaires' interests. The valuation for both entities shall be as of March 6, 2026, and must exclude any value attributed to the land and location. The selected contractor will be responsible for conducting these appraisals in accordance with prevailing professional and ethical standards, maintaining detailed records, and communicating with current concessionaires to acquire necessary information. The final appraisal reports must be delivered within thirty days of contract execution.
