The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed-price construction contract for the Oldmans Dredged Material Placement Facility (DMPF) Dike Raising Construction Project. This project involves constructing approximately 12,000 linear feet of earthen embankments using approximately 564,200 cubic yards of dredged materials. The work requires significant experience with large-scale earthwork, access to substantial equipment and labor, and the ability to manage moisture-sensitive, fine-grained soils. The contractor will also be responsible for installing three steel sluice structures and associated 30-inch steel outfall pipes, which will be provided as Government Furnished Materials. The estimated period of performance is 18 months, with an estimated project range between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The solicitation has been amended to revise the proposal due date to June 3, 2026, and to incorporate instructions for submitting questions and updated Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses.
