BFM Terminal Facility Road Upgrades - Phase I

This project involves roadway improvements at the Mobile International Airport (BFM) to enhance traffic flow and circulation. Key components include modifications to Michigan Ave, Avenue I, and Avenue M, including widening and the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Broad Street. The scope also encompasses grading, embankment construction, drainage system modifications, utility adjustments, pavement marking, signage, roadway lighting, and site restoration. Bids must be submitted in writing to the Mobile Airport Authority, 1891 9th St., Mobile, AL 36615, by 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked with project name, bidder's name, address, license number, and telephone number. Questions regarding the proposal must be submitted in writing by 5:00 PM on Monday, May 18, 2026, to Eddie Rodriguez at eddie.rodriguez@rsandh.com. The contract duration is 180 calendar days. Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage rates apply, and a warranty covering defects in material and workmanship for one year following acceptance is required. The award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder, contingent upon the receipt of adequate funds from the Federal Aviation Administration and other grant agencies.
