Oklahoma State University (OSU) is requesting proposals for a supplier to provide comprehensive services for both liquid and solid water treatment systems across their OSU-Tulsa and OSU Center for Health Sciences campuses. The scope of work includes assessments, selection and supply of chemicals, regular service reports, and operator training. The contract is intended for an initial one-year term with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods, with potential for annual renewals thereafter based on satisfactory performance. Pricing may be adjusted annually by the Consumer Price Index or 5%, whichever is less. Services will encompass various water-cooled and air-cooled systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and steam boilers, located at multiple sites detailed in Exhibit A. The supplier will be responsible for administering chemicals, often via solid chemical injection systems, and ensuring equipment can communicate wirelessly. Technical specifications require comprehensive treatment programs including scale control, corrosion inhibitors, biocides, and pH control agents. A service representative is required to visit the designated OSU representatives at least once a month to review program performance, discuss problem areas, and implement action plans. Performance reviews will be conducted annually. The supplier must also provide operational manuals, safety data sheets, and operator training seminars.
