Prisoner Transport Van Upfitting for City of Charleston Police Department

The City of Charleston, WV Police Department is seeking qualified vendors to upfit two 2026 Chevrolet Express 2500 vans into prisoner transport vehicles. The scope of work includes the installation of prisoner transport inserts, secondary HVAC systems, emergency lighting packages with siren and PA systems, three-camera systems with monitors, and vehicle-specific dash consoles. One vehicle will also require rear window removal and paneling. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, parts, and installation services. This includes freight charges, delivery, and complete installation of all specified equipment. The vendor must also install a Fuelmaster fuel ring system provided by the City and offer a minimum 5-year installation guarantee covering workmanship defects.
