PVC Pipe and Fittings for Town of Amherst

The Town of Amherst is soliciting bids for PVC pipe and pipe fittings to be supplied to all town departments on an as-needed basis. The contract will be for a two-year term, with the possibility of two successive one-year extensions at the same bid price, upon mutual agreement. A short-term extension of up to one month may be unilaterally applied by the Town if a replacement contract is not yet issued. The bid will be awarded on a line-item basis to the lowest responsible bidder. Purchases are on an as-needed basis, and quantities are not guaranteed. Prices quoted must be F.O.B. Destination, delivered inside, with all freight and delivery charges prepaid and included. No taxes are to be billed to the Town of Amherst, as their purchase order serves as an exemption certificate. The bid is firm and irrevocable for 45 days from the bid opening date.
