ERP Needs Assessment Consulting Services

The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is soliciting proposals for an independent consulting firm to conduct a comprehensive assessment of its current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment. The scope of work includes evaluating existing systems, business processes, and organizational needs to determine if a new ERP system is required. If a new system is warranted, the consultant will provide recommendations on solution options, budget, timeline, and an implementation roadmap. The assessment will cover a thorough review of the current ERP landscape, including applications, integrations, data quality, and reporting capabilities. It will also involve business process reviews through stakeholder engagement, identifying pain points and inefficiencies. The consultant will analyze gaps, risks, system costs, and policy impacts, and provide an overview of the current ERP market. Phase two of the engagement will focus on defining the future state, documenting detailed requirements, and assessing solution options, including optimization, upgrade, or full replacement of the current ERP system. The final deliverables will guide RTA's senior leadership in making informed decisions regarding their future ERP strategy.
