]http://www.idahostatesman.comThe Shoshone-Paiute Tribes are soliciting bids for the construction of a General Aviation Terminal Building and Wash Rack at the Owyhee Airport (10U). The project scope includes the construction, delivery, and installation of a pre-manufactured terminal building on a concrete foundation, site improvements such as grading, ADA-compliant sidewalks, and parking. Additionally, the project involves the installation of a potable water system with a new well, well house, piping, and water service, as well as a new sewer septic system including a septic vault and leach field. Electrical services to the terminal building and well house will also be installed. The project also includes the construction of a new wash rack with excavation, base installation, concrete placement, and storm drain structures. Bidders must be licensed to perform the work in either Idaho or Nevada. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cash, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least 5% of the total bid. The Shoshone-Paiute Tribes reserve the right to reject any or all proposals. This project is funded by federal grants and is subject to federal clauses including Buy American Preference and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Requirements.
