This is a Sources Sought Notice (RFI) from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for Bioness H200 and L300 Wireless Integrated Therapy Systems, or equivalent. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, Texas, requires replacement parts for these systems, as the current equipment has reached the end of its life expectancy. These systems are used in Occupational Therapy outpatient and Spinal Cord Injury Therapy clinics to aid Veterans with therapy needs. The solicitation is for medical and surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) and a size standard of 1,000 employees. The anticipated contract type is a Single Award, Firm Fixed Price. Vendors capable of providing these items are requested to submit their company name, contact information (name, address, phone, email), UEI number, CAGE code, and indicate their small business status (SB, SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, 8A). They should also confirm their ability to provide training as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and whether they are available under any existing government-wide contracts (GWAC, SEWP, NAC, GSA Schedule, FSS, IDIQ, BPA). Vendors must provide an Authorized Distribution Letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as proof of authorization, as the VA does not accept grey market items.
