Description

Knox County is seeking a Section 125 Administrator to manage employee benefits in accordance with Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code. The selected proposer will be responsible for administering flexible benefits and providing administrative services to all employees of Knox County Schools who choose to enroll in flexible benefits and flexible spending accounts. This includes offering a minimum of accident insurance, cancer insurance, hospital confinement insurance, short-term and/or long-term disability, specified critical illness insurance, flexible spending accounts for medical, dependent care, and health insurance premiums, and legal services regarding plan document compliance. The contract is anticipated to be a three-year award with two additional one-year options, for a total of five years.
