Description

Multnomah County is soliciting bids for pressure washing and cleaning services to address fire damage on the underside of the Morrison Bridge's west-approach Washington Street ramp. The work involves cleaning steel girder flanges, webs, stiffeners, and crossframes, as well as concrete deck soffits on Span 17W. This includes removing soot, burn residue, and loose or damaged paint coatings without removing tightly adhered coatings. The project also requires containment measures to manage dust, debris, and waste materials, particularly concerning lead, chromium, and cadmium-based paints found on the bridge's steel structures. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on Thursday, May 21st, at 1:00 p.m. at the project site. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Multco Marketplace Supplier Network by June 10th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. PDT. Prequalification with ODOT in the Painting Bridges and Buildings class of work is required.
