Canyons School District (CSD) is soliciting proposals for beverage vending machines and full-service vending operations for its high schools. The selected supplier will be responsible for providing and maintaining modern, high-quality vending machines that dispense a variety of beverages, including soft drinks, bottled water, fruit juice drinks, and sports drinks. All products dispensed must comply with USDA Child Nutrition Program and Smart Snack regulations. The contract will be for one year with options to extend annually for up to four additional years. The supplier must be licensed to do business in Utah and will be responsible for all aspects of machine operation, including installation, service, maintenance, repair, inventory, restocking, and ensuring machines are clean and sanitary. Machines must be equipped with modern payment mechanisms, including credit card acceptance and tap pay, and energy-saving devices. Service calls are expected to be responded to within four hours during business days, with 24/7 availability for urgent issues. The supplier must also comply with all federal, state, and district regulations. Proposals must include detailed information on the organization, experience, proposed product mix, equipment specifications, and pricing, including sales commissions and potential marketing rights fees.
