Uniform Rental and Facility Services

The GRTC Transit System, the primary public transportation provider for the Richmond region, is seeking bids for uniform rental and facility services. This includes the provision and maintenance of various types of uniforms such as long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, work pants, and high-visibility shirts and jackets for maintenance employees and supervisors. The contractor will be responsible for the weekly delivery of uniforms to locker rooms, replacement of worn-out garments at no cost, and the provision of floor mats and shop towels for administrative and maintenance buildings. The contractor must maintain the quality of all garments and ensure timely delivery. Uniforms will require specific branding, including embroidered patches and silk-screened logos. Pricing for lost or replacement items must be provided. The contract term is three years with two one-year option periods.
