Carbon Steel Wire Roll-Off Containers

Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority (CCRRA) is soliciting bids for the fabrication and purchase of ten (10) carbon steel wire roll-off containers. Bidders must inspect a prototype container located at the CCRRA Transfer Station/Administrative offices at 253 Transfer Road, Bellefonte, PA, by appointment only. Appointments can be made by contacting Regan Hosterman or Nick Peters at 814-238-7005 between 8 AM and 2 PM, Monday through Thursday. The containers are to be fabricated from A36 carbon steel, with all materials produced in the United States in compliance with Buy American requirements. The successful bidder must provide certification of domestic origin for all steel materials. The steel plate floor requires stiffeners above the casters as shown on the prototype, and the containers shall be hinged at one end with a forklift/hook truck connection. Each container must be furnished with two (2) specific casters, and no substitutes are permitted. The containers are to be painted with a red enamel primer.
