New Chemicals for Swimming Pond Treatment

The State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) intends to procure new chemicals for the treatment of sand-bottomed swimming pond water at Flandrau State Park. The chemicals required include Gas Chlorine, Calcium Hypochlorite, Sodium Thiosulfate, Cyanuric Acid, Muriatic Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, and Sodium Hydroxide. Quantities are estimated and may be increased or decreased throughout the contract period, which is anticipated to run from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Deliveries are expected to begin no earlier than July 1, 2026, with a three-business-day lead time after order placement.
