Districtwide Kitchen Exhaust Hood and Fan Cleaning Services

Washoe County School District (WCSD) requires districtwide cleaning services for commercial kitchen exhaust hoods and exhaust fans at WCSD facilities. Services will be performed a minimum of one to two times per year during summer and winter school breaks, with additional services available upon request. The awarded vendor must comply with WCSD's Material, Water & Lead Disturbance Permit (MDP) requirements and provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and transportation to perform the cleaning services in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and WCSD policies. Regular services include cleaning interior and exterior surfaces of exhaust hoods, removing and disposing of grease and debris, cleaning and reinstalling grease filters, and cleaning exhaust fans to ensure proper airflow. All work must be coordinated with WCSD Facilities Management and will only commence after an MDP is issued and a WCSD Purchase Order is received. All building materials are to be treated as potentially containing asbestos and/or lead unless otherwise specified in the MDP.
