Oliver Hill Courtroom Furniture Project

The City of Richmond is soliciting bids for the Oliver Hill Courtroom Furniture project. This project requires the fabrication of new courtroom furniture in accordance with provided plans, the demolition and removal of existing courtroom furniture, and the subsequent installation of the new furniture within each of the five courtrooms. All project information, documentation, and bid submissions are to be managed through the OpenGov platform. The project involves detailed planning, design development, and custom furniture fabrication, adhering to ANSI/BIFMA standards and ADA accessibility requirements. Existing furniture will be demolished and disposed of responsibly, with specific items like headboard signage and rear benches remaining. Installation will occur in one courtroom at a time, with work performed after regular business hours or on weekends to minimize disruption.
