The audits must adhere to U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, Government Auditing Standards, South Dakota Codified Laws, and OMB Budget Circular A-133. The scope of work includes examining financial records for various housing programs, including Housing Choice Vouchers, Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing, Section 8 programs, Shelter + Care, Family Self-Sufficiency, and LIHTC properties. Three separate audit reports are required for SFHRC, Affordable Housing Solutions, Inc., and South Sycamore Estates Apartments, along with two management reports and one annual IRS Form 990 for Affordable Housing Solutions, Inc. The selected firm must also provide annual certification of electronic submission of audited financial data to HUD's REAC and submit required forms to the Single Audit Clearinghouse and the State of South Dakota Department of Legislative Audit.
