The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Hydrological Instrumentation Facility requires a Sensor Water Tank for Equipment Testing. This tank will be used for testing water quality and other environmental sensors. The requirement includes the design, fabrication, construction, and delivery of the tank. The tank must have internal dimensions of approximately 120" L x 41" W x 41" H, with a capacity of about 900 gallons. It needs to be passively insulated, capable of supporting sensors and equipment around the top edge via a 316 SS Unistrut frame, and movable when empty. The material must be corrosion-resistant, suitable for long-term water immersion, and not contaminate the water or affect equipment testing. Acceptable materials include coated carbon steel, stainless steel, or fiberglass. The tank must maintain zero water leakage and withstand static and dynamic loads. It will have at least one drain port and will not include a cover. The contractor shall provide as-built drawings, coating/finish documentation, material certifications, structural calculations, and a minimum one-year warranty. Delivery is required within 150 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the purchase order, FOB Destination to Tuscaloosa, AL.
