Description

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) intends to enter into negotiations with IDEMIA Identity & Security USA LLC for maintenance, upgrades, and technical support services for their existing Livescan stations, AFIS components, and Mobile ID devices. These services include ensuring optimal performance through regular updates and troubleshooting, providing technical assistance and remote diagnostics during business hours, and covering on-site hardware support for repairs and component replacements. Parts support and delivery of necessary replacement parts are also included to maintain system reliability. NYPD has determined that IDEMIA Identity & Security USA LLC is the sole source for these services due to the proprietary nature of the software and hardware, including NYPD-specific customizations and integrated components. Consequently, only IDEMIA is legally authorized to perform these maintenance and support services. Any vendor who believes they can provide these services is invited to submit a Capability Statement.
