Description

This solicitation is for pipe couplings to be used in a crucial shipboard system. The material must meet ASME-B16.11 specifications, specifically for coupling style, socket weld end connections, 3/4 inch NPS size, 3000 pressure class, and made from ASTM-A105 forgings or forgings to ASTM-A234, Grade WPB. The material must be supplied in a seamless condition. Testing certifications are required, including Dye Penetrant Inspection or Magnetic Particle Inspection for each item. Additionally, certifications for material composition and mechanical properties are necessary, with specific requirements for heat treatment and welding processes.
