Exterminating and Integrated Pest Management Services

SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (SUNY-DHSU) is seeking a qualified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) vendor to provide comprehensive exterminating and integrated pest management (IPM) services at designated locations. This procurement is limited to NYS Business Certified vendors. The scope of services includes routine pest control for rodents, general pests, crawling and flying insects, bed bugs, stored product pests, and crack and crevice treatments. Specialty services for non-routine pest requests and emergency/urgent response tiers are also required. Services will be provided at 13 designated locations across Brooklyn, NY, with varying frequencies and response times. Key requirements include a minimum of five years of experience providing compliant exterminating and IPM services at hospitals and universities, holding a current New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Pesticide Business Registration, and employing technicians with appropriate NYSDEC Pesticide Applicator Certifications. Vendors must also demonstrate experience supporting infection control and Joint Commission environment-of-care standards in healthcare settings.
